Emerald loved how the keys felt under her fingers. She may have been Fifteen, Freshmen, and the youngest of four sisters, but she was good. Meadow often praised her. She hoped Meadow wouldn't come looking for her. If she found her here she would lecture her on that too. So she just let the music be her only teacher for the moment.

Then she heard steps in the room. And by the time she turned around, Emerald noticed the girl standing right next to the piano. Her fingers stopped moving and muic cut off.

"Yea. Well I was playing that."

Emerald smiled when the girl mentioned that she was good. And she was also interested by what the girl said. That she could play guitar. None of her sister's were into the whole music buisness, but it was nice to meet someone like that. Valerie always made sure Emerald felt low since she wasted her time in music. But Emerald shrugged that off.

"So you play guitar? I haven't met anyone interested in Music."

Then Emerald held out her hand.

"Emerald Leone. Nice to meet you."

When Stella said no one, it made Emerald a little sad inside.

"Well, my sisters aren't into the whole music scene. And my parents never encouraged it. It was actually my grandmother who taught me, when I was little. I'm more into the whole theatrical type of music. I also sketch when I'm bored."

So, it was only natural that Emerald told her. She never kepth her mouth shut when it needed to be. And she couldn't play for the time being seeing as in front of an audience she froze.

"Hmm. Lucky you. My parents wanted me too become some doctor or crap like that. Actually me and my sisters. We aren't exactly following in their footsteps, especially Meadow."

Emerald got up from the piano and walked to the middle of the stage. She twirled with arms out. And then stopped. This is what it was like to be happy. The theatre. The music. The lights. It was all so...wonderfull. If only her parents or her sisters...or someone fully understood that.

"This is what I want. Music. It's just so natural and appaling. And I just love it, period. I wouldn't trade it or give it up for the world."
